To preserve the original colour of the dinosaur sculpture you only need to apply a little teak oil to it, but if you would rather let the wood do its natural thing and let the driftwood dinosaur achieve a lighter colour as it ages, there is no need to do anything to it and this won't affect the longevity of the item.
